Honorary Membership Awards
The European Workplace Drug Testing Society (EWDTS) proudly recognises individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development, growth, and integrity of the Society. Our Honorary Membership Award celebrates those whose dedication, leadership, and vision have helped shape EWDTS and advance workplace drug testing across Europe.
Gary McCutcheon
Since the Torino 2017 Conference, Gary McCutcheon has been a driving force behind the operations of EWDTS. His leadership has strengthened the Society’s financial position, expanded sponsorship partnerships, and guided the successful transition to a paid membership model. Gary received his Honorary Membership during the Board Meeting in Belfast, October 2025.
Mike Stallard
A key figure in the organisation of several major EWDTS conferences, Rome (2013), Lisbon (2015), and Torino (2017), Mike Stallard has been instrumental in developing the Society’s Bylaws and the innovative Train the Trainer programme. Mike received his Honorary Membership in London, 2019, and the award was formally presented during the EWDTS Conference in Barcelona, 2025.
Per Björklöv
Together with Leendert Mostert, Per Björklöv was a founding father of EWDTS and served as President during key years of growth and consolidation. A driving force behind EWDTS operations, Per championed collaboration with other international organisations active in workplace drug testing. He was awarded Honorary Membership at the EWDTS Conference in Istanbul, 2023.
Leendert Mostert
One of the founding fathers of EWDTS, Leendert Mostert has served as both President and Treasurer and played a pivotal role in shaping the Society’s foundation. He was responsible for drafting the first versions of the EWDTS Guidelines and Bylaws, setting the standards that continue to guide our work today. Leendert received his Honorary Membership during the EWDTS Conference in London, 2019.
