Committees
To support smooth operations in the EWDTS organization, the society maintains the following Committees:
Membership Committee
This committee takes care of the onboarding of new members. Each applicant for new membership wil be reviewed by the members of the Membership Committee.
During the application process on the website questions will be asked to get a certain insight in the background and the connection(s) of the applicant to the Societies mandates.
The Membership Committee is staffed by the Board Members Mark Piper, Susan Carter Edwards, and Lorna Nisbet.

Conference Committee
This committee is at the basis of the organization of the bi-annual conference. They take care of all aspects of the conference-organization: From selection of the location, negotiations with the proposed venue, down to the allocation of sponsors-spaces and the presentation setup. Also, the typesetting and printing of the program booklet, the conference bags, conference dinner, etc. All are the responsibilities of this committee.
The Conference Committee is staffed by Wim Schielen, Monica Eneholm, Lorna Nisbet, and Susan Carter Edwards.

Guidelines Committee
This committee is the central point for our Guidelines: Maintaining the existing guidelines and supervising the groups of experts who work on new guidelines (and the updates of the current guidelines as well).
The Guidelines Committee is staffed by Mark Piper and Peter Akrill.

Scientific Committee
The board members staffing this committee take care of the scientific level of the conference program, as well as the variety of subjects which are touched during the conference. The selection of potential Anya Pierce Award winners and the poster applicants are in the good hands of this group.
The Scientific Committee of the EWDTS is staffed by Serap Anette Akgür, Alberto Salomone, Lorna Nisbet, and Nadine Wentzell.
Communications / Network Committee
The society’s website, communication to the members, contacts to related organisations as IFDAT, SAPAA, and IAMRO, are taken care of by this group of boardmembers of the EWDTS.
The Communications / Network Committee is staffed by Susan Carter Edwards, Lorna Nisbet, and Wim Schielen.
